Notes: FELIX, ex Amadeus, was originally built in 1969 as KOMET by Jadewerft, Wilhelmshaven, Germany, as a North Sea survey vessel. She is believed to have been ice classed during that service period. Jadewerft is now a part of the Lürssen Group. She operated as KOMET until 1998 when she became One Eagle until 2004 and then Caravelle until her sale in 2006. She was then stripped back to her steel hull at Jade Yachts in Taiwan, the superstructure was restyled by Reymond Langton with Greg Marshall for the naval architecture and entirely faired. In 2007 she was taken first to Croatia, where many of her systems and some of her interior was installed under the supervision of Northern European engineers and project managers, and then to MB 92 in Barcelona where she was finished under the supervision of Feadship Van Lent. She was purchased by her current owner in 2015.

 ACCOMMODATIONS

The interior design by Francois Zuretti features Norwegian birch burl paneling and marble flooring. FELIX accommodates 14 guests in seven staterooms. The master suite occupies the entire deck above the main deck with his and hers bathrooms, a study, and a separate private salon. The main deck has a VIP suite, two kings and two twins, convertible to kings. On the lower deck aft is a further twin/king convertible cabin.

The inspired layout of the main deck  conceied for entertainment and relaxation includes a large salon connecting to a bar area which opens onto the cinema portside and the dining forward. A state-of-the-art entertainment system provides on demand audio and video throughout the yacht.

Other features include a stainless steel and glass elevator from the guest accommodation to the bridge deck, a cinema, a gymnasium with sauna, and a golf driving range.

The layout of exterior decks is equally well thought out. The completely private three upper decks are fitted out for recreation and entertainment with comfortable upholstered seating and sun-bathing areas and al fresco dining. The sun deck features a bar, a whirlpool and an observation area forward. All decks are shaded by all-weather umbrellas. The main deck aft is a dedicated reception area for guests arriving by tender.

The Owner’s deck above the main deck includes a full beam Owner’s suite with separate office and his and hers bathrooms with tubs and showers forward. There is a gym with sauna aft ahead of the owner’s salon, with interior dining, and aft dining and lounging on the outside deck.
